Airports

Leon/Guanajuato International Airport (BJX)

This airport is about 90 minutes from San Miguel.

Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO)

This airport is about 75 minutes from San Miguel.

Mexico City Airport (MEX)

This airport is about 4 hours from San Miguel but varies based on traffic.

If you decide to visit Mexico City, transportation can be arranged between the two cities. consider booking your return flights from QRO or BJX.

San Miguel de Allende is about a 1-1.5 hour drive from the nearest airports. Below are some options to help you decide on your transportation.

Private shuttle

To make travel as smooth as possible, we’ve partnered with Julio Tours to assist guests with transportation to San Miguel de Allende. They offer private and shared shuttle services from nearby airports and can help coordinate your trip.

Guests will book and pay directly through Julio Tours by emailing juliotourss@gmail.com. Pricing ranges from $2,200–$13,000 MXN, depending on airport and number of passengers. Mention the brennan wedding when you book!

taxis

Taxis are plentiful at the airports and throughout San Miguel de Allende. Be sure the vehicle has proper identification (license plates on the front and back, and ID numbers on the side), and agree on a price with your driver before the trip begins.
